This track is our representation of Snetterton with the new chicane from 1967..

The major race event held here in 1967 was the GUARDS One Hundes with a two heat Formula 2 race. This was the first race of the new Formula Two! The King of F2, Jochen Rindt, won this first race starting from pole position on Brabham BT23. Graham Hill on Lotus 48 was 2nd, Alan Rees on Brabham BT23 3rd. Jackie Stewart who retired later, drove the fastest lap in his Matra MS5 with 1m28.2.
